How to book a car in Cuba step by step
At Easy Travel you book your car in Cuba online in a few minutes and without paying anything upfront. This is how it works.
1. Choose your car and dates
In Car rental you see every car with its price. When you open one, you choose where you pick it up and return it, the dates and times, and you see the full price breakdown before continuing.
2. Fill in your details and send the request
You enter your details and the driver's (license, date of birth and flight). When you send it, you create your free account with just a password, so you can follow your request from "My account". You don't pay anything at this step.
3. We confirm availability in less than 24 hours
We check with the rental company that the car is available on your dates and let you know. If it isn't, we suggest another option.
4. You pay and get your voucher
Once confirmed, you have 24 hours to pay by Zelle (602-619-6226) or bank transfer. Let us know on WhatsApp and, once we receive the payment, the voucher appears in "My account".
5. You pick up the car in Cuba
Show the voucher, your passport and your license at the rental company's office. There you pay for fuel and the security deposit, and drive away.
What if I need to cancel?
Yes, under the rental company's policy. Cubacar and REX: 25% penalty between 31 and 17 days before; 50% between 16 and 5 days before; 100% with less than 4 days or if you don't show up. Daiquiri: 25% between 30 and 21 days before; 50% between 20 and 8 days before; 100% with less than 7 days or if you don't show up. Applies even if you cancel because of a change of plans, documents or flights. Each car's listing shows the policy that applies to it.
